Shipping Policy and Procedures

*Due to skyrocketing shipping costs - Softside waterbeds, due to their size, will have a surcharge of $200-$500 depending on shipping destination.
Phoenix Waterbeds offers free shipping on orders over $99 (except sofstside waterbeds) to all 48 continental US states and the District of Columbia. For Waterbed Accessories and Waterbed Mattresses, most orders will ship from the warehouse within 1-2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). They are shipped via UPS Ground which takes 5-7 business days. Waterbed Linens are made to order and are typically shipped from the warehouse in 7-10 business days. They are also shipped via UPS Ground which takes 5-7 business days. Softside Waterbeds orders will ship from the warehouse within 3-5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) and are shipped via a freight carrier which can take 3-10 days depending on the delivery location. Delivery is by appointment. The carrier will contact you prior to arrival to make arrangements with you for your delivery. Softside Waterbeds will ship “curbside” which means the trucking company will deliver to the curb and the customer will be responsible for moving the products into his/her residence once the truck arrives at the delivery destination.
Curbside delivery is the standard across the furniture industry given the immense cost of shipping heavy and oversized products. We offer this service free to our customers.

We recommend customers who have difficulty moving heavy/bulky items to arrange separate local moving help to carry the product into your desired room. If you live in the Phoenix Metropolitan area we offer installation for $99. Shipping fees are non-refundable. If you are unavailable to receive your order or refuse any shipments from us for any reason other than damages, you will be held responsible for the delivery shipping costs that we incurred, plus the cost of returning the package to us and a restocking fee (10% of the order value). This amount will be deducted from your order refund. Shipping and logistics is a very costly and complicated component of the furniture/mattress industry.
